Milky goodness hot & cold reusable instructions
Milk is a white liquid produced by the mammary glands of mammals, rich in calcium, phosphorous, magnesium and protein which are all essential for healthy bone growth and development. Adequate consumption of milk and dairy from birth and throughout life can help to make the bones strong and protect them against diseases like osteoporosis.
Milk is a really nutritious drink and helps to rebuild muscles, due to its protein content.. Drink a glass of milk after you exercise! It will help to keep soreness at bay while replenishing fluids that you lost during your workout.
Milk is a very good antacid. Drinking a glass of milk when you experience heartburn can calm your food pipe from inflammation. Drinking milk regularly will prevent heartburn and other gastric problems.
Studies show that women who drink low-fat or skim milk lose more weight than those who exclude milk from their diet. Have a glass of milk during breakfast or add it into your cereal.
Milk is also a great way to de-stress at the end of the day. A glass of warm milk will help to relax tense muscles and soothe frayed nerves. It will also help if you have problems falling asleep! Milk has also been proven to reduce symptoms of PMS and boost energy.
If you dislike the milk taste, there are flavoured milk available too! Alternatively, you could add fruits into your milk to blend into delicious smoothies!
Besides drinking milk, it can also be used in many different ways.
Milk can be used for cooking or baking. French toast is made by dipping thick bread in a little milk and then beaten egg. Pan-fry in butter and serve sprinkled in cinnamon sugar.
In many cosmetics and skin care products, milk is used as a key ingredient to keep skin moisturized.
I like to do this DIY Milk mask at home, it is easy but really effective and helps to achieve baby skin!
Dip cotton wool or paper sheet facial mask into a container and milk, let it absorb the milk before applying it onto your face. Apply any excess milk onto your face and neck.
After 15 to 20 minutes, wash off with warm water.
It gives your skin a milky-white skin tone, keeps it moisturized and visibly reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Taking a milk bath is one of my favourite ways to pamper myself.
Just add a few cups of milk into warm water and soak! It is really good if you have dry skin, like me!
You may also like to add a few drops of essential oil or rose petals.

For those who are vegan or lactose intolerant, you could consider non-dairy alternatives such as Soy Milk, Almond Milk, Rice Milk and Coconut Milk.
